Terms of business
These booking conditions confirm the terms of contract which
automatically come into force on payment of the deposit to the landlord, Mrs.
Sabrina Thon.
Reservation, Confirmation and Payment
You have to make your reservation online and received an instant
confirmation with dates, price and description of the reserved property.
Normally you can book Short breaks (3+ nights) but in high season in few
apartments it is only possible to book a minimum of one week.
Any modifications are confirmed in this document, which forms the basis
of our contract with you and should therefore be checked carefully. To accept
the booking, a deposit of the total amount has to be paid to the landlord
within 10 days. This deposit depends on the apartment. Payments can be only
made by bank transfer or credit card. The rest balance of the price of your
vacation accommodation must be paid in cash at your departure.
If no deposit is received, we reserve the right to void the tentative
reservation after a reasonable waiting period. For last minute reservations
made 7 days or less before the planned arrival date, you have to pay the full
price in cash to the key holder. In this case the contract conditions come into
force once the final payment has been received.
If the balance is not paid on time, or the full balance is not paid at
your arrival in the case of last minute reservations, we will try to contact
you but reserve the right to cancel your reservation or refuse the service, retain
the deposit and apply cancellation charges as indicated below.
Arrival and Departure, Curtailing or Extending your stay
You should arrive between 4.00 pm and 7.00 pm on the day of commencement
of your booking and vacate before 10.00 am on the day of departure unless an
alternative schedule is specified by the key holder. Please contact the key
holder by telephone one day before your arriving and in addition in some
apartments it is necessary to contact the key holder by telephone on hour
before your arriving, too. If you are delayed or request an exceptional earlier
or later check-in please inform the key holder by telephone immediately. If you
are unable to take occupation on the day and time reserved due to delay,
illness, personal reasons etc. no refund can be made. Similarly, if you have to
cut your vacation short for any reason, no refund can be made for unused days.
If you would like to extend your stay, please contact the key holder.
Changes or Cancellations by you
If you wish to change any accommodation arrangement we will endeavor to do so. If, however, you request a change of
accommodation 42 days or less before arrival date this will be treated as a
cancellation and the following cancellation charges will be due. Should you
have to cancel your accommodation, you will incur the following cancellation
charges:
Cancellations made 43 days or more before arrival = 10% of rental cost.
Cancellations made 42 days to 29 days before arrival = 50% of rental
cost.
Cancellation made 28 days to 2 days before arrival = 80% of rental cost.
Cancellations made one day before arrival, on the day of arrival or
after the arrival date = 100% of rental cost.
Written notification from the person who made the booking must be
received at our office. Please notice that we are only on working days in the
office. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing (E-Mail).
Changes or Cancellation by the Cityapartment office
It is unlikely that we will have to make changes to your reservation. If
we are forced to do so, we will advise you at the earliest possible date and
will offer you the option of accepting the change or an alternative
accommodation of the same value (if available) or a full refund of all monies
paid without further compensation.
Your Liability
You have to pay a security deposit on arrival of 200 € or more in local
currency, this must be paid in cash. The local key holder is not obliged to
hand the keys over until the security deposit has been paid. The deposit will
be refunded on departure directly by the local key holder after deduction of
any extra charges or damages. Please settle your account before you check out.
You must take care of the property and contents and respect the local rules. If
you break or damage anything in the vacation home you must advise the key
holder. You and your party will be responsible for any breakage or damage made,
unless you can prove it was not your responsibility, and will have to pay for
replacements or repairs. You must leave the property in good order and wash and
put away all kitchen utensils before your departure. Occupation of the property
is strictly limited to the number of people which are confirmed by the
Cityapartment office. The key holder has the right to refuse entry to extra
persons or charge a supplement.
In some apartments it is forbidden to smoke, please respect the local
house rules.
The landlord or persons who are ordered by the landlord have always the
right to do inspections, checks, reparations or in very urgent events of
damages or suspicion of damages to enter the apartment without any
announcement. The landlord will respect your privacy and will try to inform you
in the case of entering the apartment.
Complaints
If you should have a problem during your vacation, you must inform the
key holder or office immediately who will endeavor to
put things right.
If you don’t report an apparent effect at the arriving we are going out
that the apartment is in a mint condition. If there is a fault during your stay
the same procedure is coming to use. Any demands must report in writing forms
to the office of cityapartment including all evidences
within 28 days of vacating the apartment. If you fail to follow this simple and
reasonable procedure, we cannot accept responsibility.
Our Liability
We accept responsibility to ensure that the vacation accommodation,
which you booked with us, is supplied as confirmed and that the services
offered reach a reasonable standard.
Unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility for any interruption in
services, such as gas, electricity and water, over which we have no direct
control.
In the event of death, bodily injury or illness we can only accept
responsibility, if the occurrence results from the negligent acts and/or
omissions of our own employees or agents, suppliers and sub-contractors whilst
acting in the course of their employment.
Use of swimming pool, children's play areas, sports facilities (e.g.
tennis, football pitches, training facilities): All of these activities can be
dangerous if not used properly, so please take care and be safe.
